莊東橋的個展《你的平靜就是家》挑選了這三系列中的八件作品展出，皆帶有著鮮明的海岸晴雨、前庭後院的意象，可說是呈現他回臺後在北海岸工作生活的創作小結，同時也延續和發展他2012年開始這主題創作上的思考：

　　「如何透過個人化符號的抽象性與具象表現，讓幾何形狀與表現性的筆觸線條，有了一個新的觀看指引，但不同純粹抽象、介於具象與抽象之間過度的抽象進程、或是追求似與不似之間的半抽象；也嘗試提出在一個平面上，用構圖和色彩表現非單一線性流動的時空，並保有其曖昧和開放的流動空間感的可能，來反應他在散步、騎車、乘車、旅行時看到的家屋與天地之意象。」

Eight pieces from the three series are chosen for Chuang Tong-Chiao’s solo exhibition, Inner Peace, Home, which paints a vivid image of the coastal climates and open yards. This is a reflection of his life and work after returning to the north coast of Taiwan. It is also a continuation of the theme that he has been exploring since 2012. This is an attempt to shed new lights over the expressive geometric lines through abstract and figurative expressions of personalized symbology. However, it differs from pure abstraction. It differs from the progression of over abstraction between the figurative and the abstract, and from semi-abstraction that wavers between likenesses. This is an attempt to express the non-linear dynamics with composition and color on a two-dimensional plane while leaving room for the fluidity of space, which is ambiguous and yet open, to reflect the images of house and universe he captures when he walks, bikes, drives or travels.

楊智偉《白境之形》意在探尋個人內在的心相世界，生活環境丶成長背景丶生命體驗皆是創作內涵的啓發點，藉由單純的〝形〞與〝色〞來體現自我內在的精神空間，用極感性的狀態去感受、極理性的行為去呈現。試圖把藝術家所觀察到的世界轉化成為純粹的形與色，沒有指示性亦無敍述性，更加沒有複雜的繪畫方式被帶入其中，只有純粹的幾何抽象元素成為了作品的表現手法，再加上大量留白的畫面空間，企圖營造推展出藝術家追求的內在精神空間。雖然藝術創作無法客觀地具體呈現世界的完整性，但相對來說卻也藉由主觀意識的認知底下來表現出藝術面貌的多樣性質，這也更加突顯了藝術所具有的特殊性與本質，既人與世界的直接關聯性。

Yang Chih-Wei’s White Territory explores the inner state and expresses the spiritual realm within through the pure “form” and “color”. He feels the world with utmost sensibility and present it with utmost rationality. He tries to transform the world in his eyes into the pure form and color, without indication and narration, without complicated painting techniques. Only the simplistic geometric and abstract elements remain, while leaving the large void, attempting to build the inner spirituality that he seeks.  Art does not present the world in an objective and comprehensive light. However, it is precisely the subjective consciousness that highlights a unique, essential and multifaceted quality of art, its unhindered connection to the people and the world.

A Gallery is featuring Chuang Tong-Chiao and Yang Chih-Wei in this duo solo exhibition. The two young artists have been focusing on abstract art and will present their latest work.
